Free surfboards are vessels to nirvana!

Have you ever been gifted a free surfboard?

And we’re not asking the sponsored, or semi-sponsored; that’s not a question for the “flow” guy/gal.

It’s a question for the average recreational surfer. Whether you have enough dough to support a certifiable surfboard problem, or you’re a struggling college student who scrapes together just enough cash for a two-board quiver that survives on a healthy dose of Solarez and backyard ding repairs, receiving a board free of charge is one of life’s greatest joys. If you’ve ever gifted one, you know that fuzzy feeling in your tummy and the cherish grin — those who receive glow. We wanna do some giving. And maybe that feel-goodery will exercise some of our demons before the weekend hits.

Surfing is fun and surfboards are our vessels to momentary freedom.

Right now, we have six of Mick Fanning’s Stab in the Dark replicas gathering dust in our office. They’re all epoxies, or proprietary blends, and they’re environmentally conscious, as we teamed up with Sustainable Surf for our fourth Stab in the Dark.

The boards are all 5’10 1/2. They’re high-performance thrusters. Whether you ride them or hang ’em on a wall is up to you.

We also teamed up with Awayco, a company that facilitates the boardless traveler. They have locations all over the world; we will give you more reason to subscribe in a moment.

Anyone can enter. But for our loyalists–for those who didn’t mind dishing out a few shekels on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Vimeo or wherever you watch your pay-per-view films – attach you receipt of anything you’ve paid for from us: Stab in the Dark, Electric Acid Surfboard Test, Stab High Pay-Per-View (You’ll receive an extra raffle ticket for each – and if you’ve boughten all three plus are an Awayco member, you’ll be entered five times!)

We love making films. And we’d like to keep making them. In this new digital age, we can’t give away everything for free. So those who support us, we thank you.

Here’s how to enter:

Click the link at the bottom of this page. It will take you to a Survey that’ll ask four things.

1. Take a screenshot of your Stab in the Dark receipt and upload it.*

2. Answer whether or not you’re a member of Awayco (Awayco members will be entered twice into the raffle).

3. Enter the email that corresponds with your Awayco profile.

4. Tell us which local spot you think your Mick Fanning Stab in the Dark replica will fly best.

5. If you’re neither an Awayco Member or a Stab in the Dark buyer, you can still enter. Plug your email in the five slot.

You have two weeks to enter, and you can watch Stab in the Dark starring Mick Fanning by tapping any of the links below.
