Here’s Craig Anderson’s new board model:

Haydenshapes is the most premium surfboard brand in the game. There has, in recent years, emerged a pocket of surfing that favours clean lines, monochromatic palettes, and a sleek aesthetic. Hayden Cox has been at the nicely-curved edge of this particular movement, and once again, is about to reinvigorate it with his new retail space in Sydney’s North Beaches. And not only that, but HS also roars towards 2016 with a brand new surfboard model: The White Noiz, by Craig Anderson. There’s a reason Hayden is the creator of the best-selling surfboard model of all time (the Hypto Krypto) – it’s because he knows how to create user-friendly crafts, and has the perfect man to showcase them in Craig. Together, they’ll make sweet music again with the White Noiz. “Throughout 2015, I’ve been working with Craig on some fresh new shortboards,” Hayden tells Stab. “Craig’s been super busy surfing all around Australia and we’ve locked in on one of the shapes – 5’7 1/2 x 18 5/8 x 2 1/8. This is the first look with plenty more vision to come next year!” The perfect environment in which to find out more about the White Noiz already exists: The HS Experience Store. The Experience Store is the first of its kind and quite an evolution from traditional bricks and mortar retail. There’s all kinds of flavour like touchscreen 3D design software and Virtual Reality technology, which is way less cheesy than it might sound. “Over the last three years I’ve placed a lot of focus into growing the brand internationally and establishing in the US market which has made me sit back and re-evaluate how I’m connecting to my customers and taking the brand experience beyond our digital footprint,” says Hayden. “I think that bricks and mortar retail is making a big comeback, however the landscape is changing and there is an opportunity to focus more on experience and innovative customer engagement. The surfboard industry has a lot of room for change and I personally love the idea of being progressive and pushing the industry to evolve. We really wanted to do this differently to what people have seen before.” The HS Experience Store is also home to a curation of premium clothing and surf gear from brands like Bassike and Saturdays NYC, as well as the new line of luxury wetsuits by Haydenshapes – made by hand from the world’s most high-end wetsuit materials, custom glued and sewn from Yamamoto limestone neoprene. Yeah… Haydenshapes really is the most premium surfboard brand in the game. The Haydenshapes Flagship Store is located at 54 Darley Street, Mona Vale NSW 2103 2.
