Zeke Lau and Jamie O’Brien split the peak, Hawaii

Here’s a killer split-peak moment from the Billabong Pipe Invitational (see also: Pipe trials), featuring Zeke Lau taking on Backdoor and Jamie O’Brien swinging into Pipeline. Jamie progressed to the final, but Zeke didn’t unfortunately. And, the final won’t run until tomorrow – conditions deteriorated as the day progressed and a final in the afternoon conditions would’ve been thoroughly anti-climactic. So, we wait until tomorrow.
