Thankfully, Stab lensman Tom Carey has been framing all the action, and there’s been no shortage of steamy lip displacements from Yadin Nicol. But waves haven’t been the only thing on the mind of the West-Australian turned Californian Yadin: “Yadin’s turning into more of an American than I am,” says photog Tom Carey. “He follows the NBA with a passion and knows just about every hoopster there is. But his Aussie attitude is still there and so is his explosive surfing.”
