Taj Burrow, hand on the wheel in Sumbawa

Team Globe have been clip-logging in Sumbawa – this you know. The whole party is all about the company’s new film, Strange Rumblings (visualised by Joe G). The team’s made up of Creed McTaggart, Dion Agius, Alex Smith, Nate Tyler and the man y’see pictured here, Mr Taj Burrow. Taj’s deal, as photographer DJ Struntz says, has been to “show up, blow up, and disappear back to civilization.” Taj is a no-bullshit kinda guy and has been living high in the dirty biz of pro surfing for over 15 years now, but he’s still thrilled as ever to pack up a coffin of clubs and head into the jungle with a team of young, inspiring team pals.
