Is there a better way to get from surf spot A to surf spot B? The man carving his way between sessions here in Santa Cruz is Floridian, Sean Tubbs. By all reports he’s quite a talent on the Sector 9. In this shot he reached up around the 30 mph mark on his way to score the session.
Apparently weaving the bitumen on your longboard is all the rage in Norcal come summer. “There’s no waves so you end up skating ramps or one of the concrete parks in town,” says the man who took the shot, Nate Lawrence. And what did Sean find at the bottom of the hill? Pumping waves, according to Nate. His second score of the day and all the result of a journey atop his skatey.
