An obviously unstuck air has gotta be of a certain height to make it great. Photographs of Ozzie Wright have achieved that bar twice in as many weeks. Alter your preconceived notions for one second, if y’can, and enjoy this image for face value (not what happened afterwards). Just imagine how Ozzie must feel in this moment, floating silently over the green glow of a northern Sydney beachie. And this wasn’t the only huck with height that Oz threw during the session. He was, by all reports, thoroughly entertaining. “I was very happy to sit behind the lens or just sit and watch him,” says Matt Withaar, who shot this. “Nearly every wave something crazy went down.”
