Mitch Coleborn, Island Hopping (part two), Hawaii
Yesterday’s Full Frame saw Mitch Coleborn boarding a flight in Hawaii. Not to go home, but to get away from the points, scores, requalification scenarios, sunset instagrams and cell service of the North Shore. And, to peace out on a different island for a stint. “We found it all,” says photog Ryan Miller, along for the ride to document the trip. “Got to drive down dirt roads, eat plate lunch ribs, watch my phone say ‘searching for service’, and surf some waves with no one around. We found the funnest clean little right down a dirt road with only two other guys out who’d been camping there on the beach. It ain’t the next P Pass, but it was exactly what we were looking for.” It doesn’t need to be perfect to find perfection. Check out Mitch boarding the flight, here.
