“There’s nothing better than seeing one of the world’s best goofy-footers at a left like Macaronis,” admits Photographer Tom Carey on the photo above. “Mitch is so fun to watch. He’d surf one wave like shit. Paddle 200 yards up the point over dry reef, get tubed and huck a six foot air out of pure anger. I like it when people surf aggressive and let their emotions all hang out like that.”
