Mitch Coleborn, needle-down roter on the backside, Samoa
If you park yourself in Stab magazine regularly, y’might be thinking that there seems to be a lot of shots leaking out Samoa lately. But, there ain’t! It’s an elusive illusion! A lil while ago now, y’see, Tom Carey took Mitch (here), Oz Wright, Mason Ho, Ford Archbold and Alex Smith on what turned out to be “one of the most amazing trips of my life,” says Tom Carey, the photographer. “The whole crew just… clicked.” And the volume of shots was something that couldn’t be contained within one or two magazines hence its scooze appearing across several volumes. This wave is an outer-reef that shines in the early morning (before the south-east trades) and during the late late glass. Holds 10 feet too, if that’s your gas.
