Ok, it ain’t a Miguel Pupo slamming through a no-hands drainer, or belting the hell out of a shoulder-high lip, or spinning over a wild section. It’s Miguel flicking a little frontside number on a weak wave as an afterthought. But y’know, this is surfing. And this is Miguel’s reality right now. The Quiksilver Pro could run at any time over the next 10 days and it ain’t up to Miguel when it does. All he can do is be ready for whatever he has to surf in. Which brings up this photograph’s stock. That, and it’s just… pretty, right?
