One hour prior to this Full Frame coming to life on Stab’s portal, Mason Ho was standing in this Pipeline barrel. Ain’t the to-the-minute nature of this digital age thrilling? An unseasonal but exquisite swell hit two days ago. Is there anything sweeter than those surprise swells? “It’s firing off its face out there right now,” says Laserwolf, a photographer with an excellent alias and excellent photographic eye, who captured this moment of dear Mason. “Pipe had the morning funk going on so I shot with Mason in Haleiwa early but it wasn’t quite doing it either. By the time we got back to Pipe, it was firing. As good as it gets. This wave was one of the smaller one but goes to show what a cool customer Mason is.”
