That’s Letty Mortensen getting tail high on the North Coast of NSW. He’s a 17-year-old from Avalon, getting ready to dust off school forevz and hungry to make some bank on the free-surfing game. Throwing hands to the skies is Jamie Krups, and, with lensmen Blaise Bell, the three have been pacing Australia’s East Coast tracking spikes in swell you wouldn’t bat an eyelid at. “Lette, Jamie and I made a last minute decision to camp on the North Coast for some good times and a small run of swell,” says Blaise of their most recent trip. “Home had been pretty bad so we were eager to get some good waves and content. It was rad seeing the boys going big so close to the rocks. I’ve been hunting this angle for ages so I was stoked to make it possible.”
