“The boys have officially gone wild,” says photographer Ryan Miller, who captured the moment you see here. “After watching the women surf stunning Snapper on day two of the Roxy Pro, they were riled up and ready to play. Cars were flying in every direction. Straddie, Illuka, Byron, all of it. Josh Kerr decided to stick close to home base, and I’d say he was glad he did. Guy was going sky high all morning at D’bah.”
Mr Kerr was unstoppable in round one of the Quiksilver Pro, putting together some wildly good barrel / club sandwich / railwerk combos. He’ll surf against Kolohe Andino in heat nine when the contest resumes, which at this point ain’t looking overly soon due to a slouch in swell. But still, we wait…
