“Jordy opting out of Haleiwa to attend his movie premiere in Sydney made him one of the late arrivals to the North Shore,” says photog Ryan Miller. “Those first few days here (on the North Shore) are so fresh and livid, waking up at 5am every day with the anticipation of waves. Jordy is on that early program. Here he is, still fired up and not getting into the laid-back Hawaii lifestyle just yet. He was on a mission to spray paint his whole quiver in between surfs.”
