Though it’s hard to define from the photo, Jeames Young (on the left there) and his pal are about two meters away from each other, which ain’t a great distance to cover when you’re midway through the trajectory required for an air. Though the kids didn’t land on each other, it was the closest of calls. Though, admittedly, two groms landing in embrace on the sandbank is a small price to pay for a photo as stellar as this, no?
