The North Shore is currently embedded with sand in spots where it usually ain’t covered in sand. Like, Insanities, pictured here beneath Balaram Stack. Balaram is New York’s finest surfer, and most famous, and he’s now flying under the Volcom flag (since transitioning outta Quiksilver back in March), staying at the Volcom house and ruling along the stretch. The odd sand has made for ramps popping up everywhere and Bal is all over them.
