Andrew Doheny, wake up blast at Newport Beach, CA
Every morning, Andrew Doheny wakes up between 8am and 10am. He walks outside and gets in his car, ’cause when he wakes up he can never just sit still at home. He goes over to Dough Boys Donuts, gets a drink and some fruit. Then, he goes to 50th Street, ’cause that’s the only street where y’can pull up on the curb. He gets outta his car, then checks the waves. If it’s good, he goes home, puts his wetsuit on (done all the way up at his house) and speed walks down the beach. He doesn’t stretch. He just paddles out, keeps his hair dry as long as he can, then starts throwing finners like this one. Good morning, Mr Doheny.
