The Waves In Scotland Are Better Than Your Backyard
Colder, but still better.
I woke up to an email yesterday which read:
You ever upload that Scotland clip to our youtube?
Uhhhh, whoops, I must have missed that one. Had it been another exported file from La Jolla or Hossegor I might have had an excuse, but Scotland is not a location we usually get edits from, nor a place I would imagine gets decent surf.
Evidently, the sets in Rhys Smith’s Pulse are better than anything I’ve surfed in years. The lineup is practically empty because the water is only a few degrees away from becoming a sea-sicle.
Slow-mo usually leaves me asleep at the wheel (keyboard), but filmer Katie Taylor thoroughly matched the gloomy Scottish landscape to the music. I had no issues tagging along for the high FPS ride.
