Supertubos Is Looming, And The Wildcards Have Been Announced
4 men and 2 women, all hoping to get super-tubed.
We’re four days out from the coldest moments of the 2023 Championship Tour thus far. Portugal marks the moment our beloved gladiators will slip a bit of rubber under their rashies, and attempt to get super-duper-tubular.
Here’s who’s not showing up, and who’ll be there to replace ’em.

The injury list looks similar to Sunset’s, with the only difference being the absence of Sophie McCulloch.
Is she back? Judging by her placement in the Opening Round against Caity Simmers and Steph Gilmore, we’d say so. Though, the Aussie youngster has quite the uphill battle — with a sore ankle — to ensure she doesn’t return to the Challenged Series.
On the women’s side, Teresa Bonvalot continues her stint as the WSL’s go to Injury Replacement, and Portuguese Olympian Yolanda Hopkins will fill the wildcard spot.
On the men’s side, Carlos Muñoz returns against a handful of familiar Europeans — one of whom sent us his clip this week.

Sadly, that very man — Gatien Delahaye — has succumbed to the knee injury he told us he was battling. Tiago Carrique will fill his spots.
As Paul Evans alluded to on our latest episode of the Stab Pod, the forecast doesn’t look great, but we’re still hoping that changes.
Here’s to some super tubes.
