September’s COTM: Who Won The Surfboard From The WSL Finals Comment Section?

A deep-quip regarding Caity Simmers’ victory from an “Adult Learner”.

After eight hours of WSL Finals competition and 533 comments — “Adult Learner” took home the W for this topical wit-lash:

This comment has two points of lore that must be excised for those out of the know: (1) A month ago we published a piece researched and written by our own Coral McDuffee entitled “Unsolicited Advice From Men”, where Caity lends a few sharp quotes. And (2) After the buzzer rang on Finals Day and Caity stood supreme, the general public rushed the line-up and clapped, hooted, and splashed joyously during her post-heat interview.

To honor our promise, we’ve shipped Mr. Adult Learner the CI Pro that Kolohe rode in Stab In The Dark — and have officially entered him as Septembers commenter of the month.

With this entry, he’ll be prosaically wrestling against 11 other keyboard artisans for top honors as Comment Of The Year.
