Occy And Parko Get Prepped To Gatecrash Oceanside’s JS Garage

JS Surfboards will be hosting their Surf Into The Winter event on both 10/7 and 10/9, which includes: A tailgate party with Joel Parkinson and Mark Occhilupo, free hardware + surfboard testing + beer, the premiere of Billabong’s Interlusion, live music, surf-offs, and hangs with talents like Dusty Payne, Cherif Fall, Steve Sherman, and Oliver Kurtz.

The easiest sell of our lives? Maybe.

Below are the touch-points we recommend hitting: 

October 7th:

Demo Day: 7 am – 12 pm

Where: North Side of The Pier in Oceanside.

• Full range of JS surfboards to demo. 
• Billabong will have a selection of fresh neoprene on tap.
• Futures, FCS, and Dakine, will provide the hardware. 
• 11 am: Tag-Team surf-off featuring the Oceanside Boardrider’s Club. 

October 7th, Cont’d:

Party: 6 pm – (who really knows).

Where: JS Oceanside Garage 305 Wisconsin Ave, Oceanside, CA 92054 

• Meet & greet with Occy, Parko, and Jason Stevenson. 
• Premiere of Billabong’s “Interlusion.” 
• Raffle prizes JS + all sponsors.
• Grub and watering from Shootz Poke, Kyotos Sushi Hand Rolls and Fireball Pizza, Ashland Seltzer, Villager Spirits, Mucho Aloha Hard Lemonade, Stone Brewing Beer, Shootz Japanese larger, Juneshine Hard Kombucha.
• 7-9 pm live music from Punch Stains, Swede, Skogen, and a special guest DJ closer.  

October 9th:

Tailgate Party: 9 am-10 pm (Game starts at 10 am) 

Where: JS Oceanside Garage Parking Lot. 305 Wisconsin Ave, Oceanside, CA 92054

• Free Beer: Stone Brewing.
