“Most Energy I’ve Seen At A Surf Movie Premiere”
A recap of the Stab x Octopus ‘Mission Control’ live screenings.
This past weekend, we hosted our first screenings of Mission Control by Octopus in Oceanside and Ventura.
As those of you who attended can attest to, the film is three-years worth of footage distilled into a 30-minute full throttle deluge of Dion Agius, Chippa Wilson, Harry Bryant, Micky Clarke, and more.
For those of you who didn’t attend but will be anxiously awaiting the films release on Stab Premium, we’ve moved the release date back to July 21st.
To keep your tastebuds tender, we’ll leave you with a few details from our initial screenings.
- The crowds were visibly shocked at Dion’s first wipeout clip
- Every adolescent in attendance spent the duration of the film headbanging to the soundtrack
- “Is Dion surfing better than ever?” asked multiple people in the swaying mass of people.
- “How did Kael sneak these clips away from Quiksilver?” asked others.
