More Gameday Excitement From The Waimea Superbowl
Watch Eli Olson’s contribution to the endless stream of Eddie content.
Last week, we ran an article asking (and explaining) why the Eddie Aikau Invitational still matters.
This video explains it’s relevance better than words ever could.
Upon receiving an invite to the mythical event, Eli Olson immediately flew over from New Zealand, got some fuggin bombs, and flew back to NZ the next day.
Above, we join Eli in all of his excitement, through the hours leading up to the Eddie. The smile on his face and his tangible childlike excitement tells the whole story.
“It’s something you work your whole life for, and now it’s finally happening. On the flight I was just smiling by myself, sitting there so excited,” he says. “And to do it with your best friends, and people you grew up idolizing, it’s insane.”
Click above to follow Eli past the couches on the cliff, through the throngs of wide-eyed haoles, and into the fray.
