Mick Fanning Awarded Wildcard for Narrabeen
The veteran drops his hot mic and picks up the jersey.
Mick fanning just announced that he will be the wildcard for the upcoming Rip Curl Narrabeen Classic. Not only is he participating, but he’s looking to take out some heads along the way. Check out Mick’s eagerness below:
Big daddy Fanno is coming out of retirement (temporarily), and 34 male surfers just simultaneously said, “Oh, Fuck.” Mick can advance the first few rounds off of intimidation alone. After that, he’ll have to depend on his surfing a bit.
Speaking of which, has anyone seen him surf lately? He’s probably out of shape and not doing much. You definitely won’t find him packing kegs at Kirra on arguably the best swell the point has ever seen.
