How Fast Could You Spend $10,000 In Indonesia?

It only took Tully Wylie 60 days.

Southeast Asia has a reputation in the world travel scene for being notoriously cheap.

And it is, if you’re willing to have a finite number of Bintangs and toilets that only sorta flush.

But, as anyone who’s spent time in Indonesia’s promised archipelago knows, one too many Canggu blinders and a week at a decent surf resort will set you back far more than the “$2,000” you told yourself you’d spend.

After earning himself a spot in the 2022 Ripcurl Bells Pro, Tully Wylie took his personal slice of the WSL’s ten million dollar prize purse, and headed out on a two-month tube hunting excursion.

Was it worth it?

You tell us.
