And anyone familiar with good vibes knows that they don’t end where the ocean meets the sand.

Founded by freesurf darling Mikey February and his lovely life partner, Zelti, JUJU Surf Club has been emanating good vibes far beyond Africa’s coastlines and brightening the lives of young surf aspirants across the continent since 2020. By connecting individuals and brands from around the world in support of the nation’s nonprofits and the communities they benefit, JJSC is encouraging and fostering the infinite and untapped talent in a land historically ignored for its waveriding potential.

To support these efforts and raise the vibration even further, Vans has joined forces with the February’s philanthropic offspring in the form of a head-to-toe collection – as well as a $30K direct donation – to support their mission of facilitating youth empowerment, job creation, and thriving African surf culture.

The clean-lined, playfully-hued collaboration includes a boardshort, short sleeve tee, graphic fleece, and bucket hat, along with a handful of fresh kicks in JUJU’s signature gold and burnt orange palette. 

Lighthearted design details and technical aspects across the range express each entity’s respective heritage, speaking subtly to the message they convey while providing a unique identity to each surf lifestyle staple.
