Filipe Toledo Embraces SoCal Van Life

I don’t speak Portuguese, but the language of the SoCal road trip is universal.

Before heading to Portugal, Filipe Toledo took a drive up north to pay his respects to the Queen of the Coast. The clip opens with Filipe’s garage door, revealing legions of new Sharp Eye fiberglass. He then does his best rendition of Ramble On (ft Portuguese), assessing conditions and water temp before loading his shiny toys into the #77 sprinter van .

The rest? The poetics of a road-tripper.

A shopping cart runs through Maccas by default of tall vehicle; frozen toes; beats hot enough to pierce the winter haze, a lot of laughs, a pinch of misery, and a few character-building moments indeed lost in translation. Once Van 77 arrives at its destination, Filipe and (younger brother) Davi Toledo blitz the muddy walls.
