Conner Coffin, The Rincon Cove, and a Twin Fin (+1)
New stickers, same style.
Just a few miles north of Santa Barbara, the hillsides along the Pacific Coast Highway are sprouting with foreboding yellow flowers. The ground is damp, and the colors of spring have begun to bristle in the all too familiar northwest wind. The coldest, most grovely season to be a surfer is California is arriving — and the whitecaps aren’t far behind.
Conner Coffin however, doesn’t mind. Despite the handful of wind-blasts that have hurled past the Santa Ynez mountains in the past few weeks, Conner has still found plenty of coping to connect with in the Rincon Cove.
Riding the same JS model that Joel Parko said he “couldn’t get off” in a recent Joyride, Conner makes whitecapped ‘Con look deceivingly simple.
Though the Californian is running a very new sticker configuration, his style is as timelessly recognizable as it ever was. Looking forward to seeing a lot more free-surf clips from the deft-footed 29-year old.
