I'm not saying the 'Sinatra - fly me to the moon' collection will increase your hang time, but I'm not saying it won't either.

Ballet’s Grips Are En Pointe

Tasteful traction for folks with self-restraint.

Tell you what is soul-crushing? Seeing a fucked pad being adhered to a crisp freshie.

Ballet Grip Co is a brand conceived by Jamie Krups and Seb Raubenheimer. They make (mostly) grips in B&W color palettes that signify mastery in 1.) fine arts 2.) the english language 3.) skilled and coordinated movement akin to Anna Pavlov.

Well look, not really.

What they really signify is tastefulness and self-restraint, which in a ‘break things and move fast’ society, is a virtue sorely lacking. Alas, the application of a Ballet grip is a telltale sign of one’s cognisance and eye for aesthetic.

Mr Lee, en pointe.

Their latest grip comes from the ‘Sinatra – Fly Me To The Moon’ collection. It is a three-piece front pad in all white featuring a corduroy groove to minimize chest abrasion and maximize board-feel allegedly developed in conjunction with NASA scientists.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to make a grip pad, but it sure helps.

Stab’s art director and best dressed employee for 8 years running, Shinya Dalby swears by Ballet grips and refuses to glue anything else to his sticks. Connor Lee and Letty Mortenson are also on the House of Ballet roster, and they do tricky things on surfboards gracefully where a quality grip is critical.

One giant leap for mankind.
