Stab Podcast: These Are Our Picks For The WSL Finals
Plus investment advice, blimp crashes, and the salvation of our sinning surfers.
This week’s podcast opens up hot.
Buck’s unsolicited advice for the WSL: Organize a blimp crash. He’s joking, of course, but think about how much press the Hindenburg attracted. The WSL Finals at Lowers could be a monumental moment in history if organized properly.
Danny and Buck also investigate why pro surfers keep quitting the tour. Sorry, we mean “taking a break.” Buck and his life partners in college also took many “breaks.” He knows what it means.
Jake “Vinny” Vincent won our S.U.R.F. series and has established himself as a money-making machine. $10k for the comp will go lovely with his return from the good old Game Stop investment. We can only hope Vin does the smart thing and unloads his millions into the Rage 4 budget.
Surf sins: we allow people to heal, and Teddy, the board thief from last week, gives us an update on his path to salvation. This week’s sinner is a hardcore surf fan; who’s only surfed once? You guys are out of control.
And don’t forget about the Stab CUSP. It’s time for Mikey and Stace to place their final bets. Mikey has Felipe Toledo winning for the men and Carissa Moore taking home the trophy for the women. Stace agrees on the Carissa front but believes Gabe’s terminator mindset and experience in title races will lead him to victory.
The fellas continue to plead their cases with analytical, psychological, and emotional data.
