Cristobal De Col, Insanities, Hawaii

Peruvian Cristobal De Col seems to have taken some of his recent Hawaiian training to heart. Along with Evan Geiselman and Conner Coffin, Cristobal’s been bouncing around on a trampoline at Shane Beschen’s house, practising rotations and grabs as part of a training exercise with the Red Bull group. The spot you see pictured above, called Insanities, is in between Rockpiles and Off The Wall on the North Shore. As is often the case, the prime shots don’t always have the greatest action. In this image, the golden light and peach-coloured mountains enrich what would’ve been an otherwise fairly standard frontside huck – albeit above someone’s head.
