How F***ing Nice Is Costa Rica?

Following Vans Stab High Central America presented by Monster Energy, we have a unique fondness for the country of Costa Rica. Its food, its people, its waves — all top shelf and something we hope to explore further in the future. But for now, we’ll have to live vicariously through the O’Neill team featuring Noah Waggy, Cory Lopez, Torrey Meister, and the recent U18 US Champ, Shion Crawford, who recently made the sojourn down south.

Focused primarily on a wave that Cory used to frequent with his brother, Andy Irons, and Kelly Slater, the crew made chop suey of the Indo-lite walls and wedges. It’s like Lakey Peak on horse tranquilzers.
