An O’Neill x Stab joint: The Elite short

Let’s just begin by pointing out that when you’re land-locked, it’s almost impossible to look awesome on a hot day (like, a festival!). What do you do to avoid pairing a cut-off singlet with a pair of shorts that involve khaki roll-ups, obscure floral yardage, or the latest one with the 90’s bold font down the thighs like you dabble in MMA? Ugh. What you can do, however, is buy a pair of our brand new O’Neill x Stab trunk, straight from the future, via us. Matty Bouris from O’Neill created these spacey shorts for our A Place in the Sun contest, back in November last year. With a deep influence from basketball and heavily invested on the tech angle side, these trunks get better with every wear. He called them the Elite short. You can surf on Jupiter in these, we’re sure. They’re totally reversible, which Matty describes as “a two-for-one thing,” because “the people sure love value for money so I wanted to catch that attention.” Matty’s totally got your back. Matty explained to us that the fabric is called Epic-Stretch, which is 91 percent polyester and nine percent elastane. The fabric is DWR (Durable Water Repellent), treated for less water absorption. The cut and sew panels were designed for a drape look and the gusset makes this lightweight fabric feel nice and relaxed. In other words, it looks the shit, it’s comfortable as, and you can totally surf in these. It’s a win-win situation x 2. So come grab these Elite sport future shorts. They’re only available on Stab and once they’re sold out, they’re gone. – Shinya Dalby
