Bobby Martinez, Long Beach, NY
Bobby Martinez has always been outspoken, and it’s cost him in the past. But today, it caused him to lose his place on the ASP world tour. After winning his round two heat against Bede Durbidge, Bobby came in, stood smiling next to Todd Kline, leant into the microphone and spat forth a stream of curse-riddled consciousness, which, in its essence, likened the current world tour and its one-world ranking to the sport of tennis. He also told the ASP to, er, go away. The ASP promptly responded with a letter to Bobby published on their website.
