With blockbuster brands willing to do anything to grab the attention of their tertiary demographics, collaborations offer an easy on ramp to do so. Unfortunately, the initial success of these collaborations has led to a watering down of the product quality they emit. However, Roark and Danner are here with a stunning capsule that honors the original ideas of the exercise, which is to say it’s as thoughtful as it is limited.

Despite the brand’s vast difference in age (Danner founded 1932, Roark 2010) the two have strikingly similar identities.
