“Baja is the easiest trip you can do for a California surfer,” says photographer Tom Carey, who lives in California and would know about such things. “Creed McTaggart (pictured here swinging a backhand serve), Droid Doheny, Ford Archbold and Colin Moran were all in town filming for Metal Neck 2, The Bangover, so we decided to jam down south and get into some warmer water and less crowded conditions. After an hour and a half flight we found ourselves surfing some fun little right point breaks and some beachies. It’s hard keeping up with that crew. The  kids are nuts!”
