Yeah, Kirra’s pretty epic. Yeah, it lit up on Cyclone Uesi. And yeah, Parko’s copped some flack about giving absolutely zero fucks about (kind of) burning guys. But wouldn’t you, if you could?

For the common man, the workaday slug that hopes to score that magic swell at the groin just once or twice a season, what’s a session out there really like?

If you haven’t experienced the madness firsthand, here’s three words: Barrels. Burns. And birds.  

As in trying to get barreled, getting burned, and flipping the bird. 

Everything about the Uesi run looked hectic, especially in this lengthy, mostly raw edit. It’s a full-on Aussie circus. Every mate and maggot waiting on the shoulder to either take-off on you outright or casually chandelier the section on you, but hey, all it takes is one at Kirra. Right?
