Watch: 21 Days / Kolohe Andino and Jadson Andre
All-access look into the psyches of Brother and Jaddy.
Another year, another tour, not just another BTS view.
Enter, again, Red Bull’s 21 days.
For Kolohe Andino 2019 is a new chance to prove to the world – and himself – that he’s not a white-lily gentleman from San Clemente. That he is, in fact, World Title contending or at least top of the podium finishing material. Embracing his underdog role, Kolohe is still searching for that first Championship Tour victory (he’s finished second four times in his CT career – that numero uno will come soon enough).
And, for those who forgot about Andre, it means much more, as the 29-year-old Brazilian battles with the loss of sponsorships, and the pressure of surfing for his family.
With talent levels above whatever the 90s thought was possible, preparation is more important than ever. Most CTers have what it takes to contend, obviously; but those who will win events, are the same that keep their mind and body in check. From workouts and surfs to board selection and heat strategy, follow the lives of two different surfers from contrasting backgrounds, as they prepare for a new season on the WCT. It’s surfing and athleticism at its finest.
After all, surfing’s in the goddamn Olympics now.
