Yago Dora and Lucas Silveria Rule In “Cintilar”

Persistence paid off for Yago Dora and Lucas Silveria for the making of this jazzy short. They shot back in early September, after Yago won his first QS event of the year. With only 15 days before the next event, Yago, Lucas, Marco Giorgi and Mateus Herdy went in search of European punchy sand-bottom stretches, wind swept lips, crushing foam balls and any drains on offer. Though, they wouldn’t come easy.

“We drove from Lisbon to the Basque Country, from there to France, then back to Portugal for the last week,” Yago told Stab. “We didn’t score properly till we made it to Coxos and Supertubos. We made the most of it however, even when the waves were shit.”

In the end they produced “Cintilar,” a 17 minute, highly saturated exploration of this fertile playground. There’s mood, quirk and enough high performance action to keep it worth your while, so take some time away from life responsibilities and indulge above.
