Stab TV Producer.

Stab is looking is for an experienced TV producer* to work immediately in Hawaii for the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. In this role you’ll work alongside our editorial team on a wide range of short-form and long-form video on a variety of platforms: from iTunes, Facebook, Instagram and most importantly, YouTube. Some of the long-form content also live on cable tv.

The initial contract will be six weeks with the potential to become a full-time position, based out of Los Angeles. 

The role.

You have a good handle on attention to detail, can run multiple projects at once, managing teams in different timezones.

While mother nature will throw us curveballs on the surf, the wind and usually flightpaths, you will be our central calm. 

Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients.

Communication. 

You’ll be the single point of contact with the team on each project and will streamline the flow of information to establish a unified voice for post-production. This ensures the project stays on deadline, on budget and assets are created for the right channels. 

Creative Development. 

Despite being on production management, we’d hope you can offer creative support for writers, editors, and designers throughout the entirety of the creative post life cycle. 

Asset Management. 

The Stab TV Producer helps to source any and all needed assets for each project at hand. This may include high-res footage, show episodes, audio splits, tracking down gfx collects, gathering final deliverable needs, and facilitating the delivery of final files.

Events.

Experience with outside broadcasts, live audiences and permitting would be a plus but not essential. 

Qualifications.

• 2+ years producing short and long-form content (social content a bonus).

• Experience in surfing a bonus but not essential. 

• Creative Marketing or Social Agency experience a bonus.

• Ability to pivot and adjust quickly to schedule changes and creative.

• Attention to detail. 

• Self-starter with an ability to work autonomously.

• Excellent organization and time management; able to prioritize a large volume of work effectively and efficiently with tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of project management software a plus.

The salary would be based on experience.
