Kyuss King’s Signature Softboard Is Built For Speed

Send it to the moon with the Rocket Fish.

Kyuss King is a seventeen year-old super grom and (near) future competitive weapon. The kid can punt, he can sink rail and has the ability to bundle it all up into a neat package. Give him a little longer to thicken out his sticks and he’ll be dispersing serious water – just the way the judges like it. Recognising his potential come adolescence, the fair-haired kid from Byron Bay already sports the logos from the likes of Vans, Electric Eyewear, DHD, Gorilla Grip and Skull Candy. Now he has a foam funboard named in his honour.

The Softech creation is called the Kyuss King Rocket Fish, it’s 4’8″ with FCSII plugs, plenty of girth and a wild looking swallow tail. It weighs in at 41 litres, so if you’re not a lanky teenager you’ll still float the thing (it might just ride better in the pocket!). What also sets it apart from the rest of the foam market is its handshaped rails – you can drive off them, a little more than most anyway.
