Almost three decades after sinking the masses to their tits on CI elf slippers, there’s still no one that can turn the needle on surfboard design like Kelly Slater.

Every time the guy puts out a few waves on a new experimental board, clip plays go wild and surf shops the world over scramble to make room in racks for curious tire-kickers, and more than a few loyal customers.
