“I’m 24th now and the lowest my total can be is, like, 21,600 points,” Kolohe told Stab on the eve of his second victory. “If I don’t keep my result or if I don’t lose first heat in Santa Cruz (at the O’Neill Cold Water Classic) then I think it’ll work.” As it turns out, Kolohe just won his first heat at the O’Neill CWC this morning.
The photograph you see above, shot by James ‘Jimmicane’ Wilson, was taken at San Francisco airport. Jimmy drove up there with Nike Team Manager Frankie D’andrea to pick up Kolohe, Evan Geiselman, and Luke Davis on their way back from Brazil. All three are competing in the CWC, which is live right now. Can Kolohe make it a hat-trick?
