Dry Off, With Your Favourite Surfboard Manufacturer
Slowtide’s new shaper series.
We don’t do cheap towels.
Life’s too damn short, and luckily for us and you and everyone else, there’s Slowtide. The Californian x Hawaiian brand were one of the original co’s to move into the surf towel space, and they continue to make one of the most inanimate textile objects, somehow interesting, whilst never sacrificing that butter-smooth feel. The latest of which is the Shaper Series – towels decorated by the minds of those who’ve kept foam under our feet and smiles on our faces for so long.
Littered throughout the collab are some of the most prestigious and notable shapers we’re lucky enough to have designing and making crafts in our lifetime. Including, ahem, all six of the shapers feature in our on-going saga Stab In The Dark (Merrick, Pukas, DHD, Pyzel, Mayhem and JS) as well as some of the greats like Bing and T&C.
The towels are 100% recycled and geared towards travel (compact, quick drying etc.) and they also absorb four times their weight in water, which is kinda trippy if you pause to ponder. Seriously, if you’re scratching around for an Xmas gift for the impossible waxhead in your life, or you’re just tired of draping the same stinky beach towel around your shoulders after each dip, then Slowtide’s a great place to drop in.
Christmas shopping just got a whole lot easier.
