A Logger You Should Get To Know: Caio Teixeira
And—gasp!—he’s Brazilian!
The majority of longboarding being done off the shores of Brazil shares little, rhythmically, or stylistic, with the sweet, citrusy music, and casual, hip-swaying on land.
In fact, it is quite ugly, crude, and forced.
But that is certainly not the case with Caio Teixeira, a young Rio logger who mixes powerful, swooping drop-knee turns with understated, precise footwork and beautiful noseriding, shying way from any retro, throwback posturing, instead pushing a clean, strong approach to single-fin logging, which we must say, pairs perfectly to Edu Lobo’s “Upa Neguinho.”
