Even if you’ve never heard the name Luke Condon, you know all about this guy.
He’s the one who always ends up on the bomb of the day, whether it’s 200m down the beach or right on your head. He’ll come from nowhere, swoop in effortlessly behind the peak, and disappear for some odd seconds before kicking casually out the back.
Yes, he always makes it.
The 20-year-old from Lennox Head no longer competes, but has instead spent the last year compiling superior visions for this three-minute banger called “Whizz” (filmed and edited by Mikey Mallalieu). Highlights include the psycho-deep runner at 1:34 and the two-story Cloudbreak drop toward the end.
I guess he doesn’t always make it.
“I got so fucked up on that thing,” Luke laughs. “Lucky there wasn’t another one behind it when I popped up.”
