Shipsterns Bluff Hospitalizes Local Tassy Charger
A nightmare scenario for Harry Holmer Cross.
You’ve probably seen the mutated clips of last weeks Shippies swell. If not, we’ll have a story up soon.
On March 26th, during that run of frightful slab-sending, local kid Harry Holmer Cross was knocked unconscious and ragdolled through the rocks after packing a very large wave.
According to his GoFundMe (which you can donate to here):
When his father James got to him on the jet-ski, Harry was face down, unconscious, and not breathing. Luckily, James was quick to respond, getting him out of water and straight to the boat where they started CPR. Shortly after, his body reacted and brought him back. They then took a short boat ride to meet the emergency rescue helicopter who flew him straight to Royal Hobart Hospital.
Harry is currently in the hospital with serious head trauma, ear canal damage, and likely a loss of motor skill functions.
The money from the GoFundme will be used to cover his rehabilitation and his loss of income from missed work.
