Find Out How Fast You’re Really Going!

Rip Curl has a new GPS Surf Watch.

There’s tech nerds everywhere, even in surfing. Four years ago, Rip Curl released their first GPS surf watch which allowed you to track swells and all the rest from the ease of your wrist.

The only problem was that it was a little chunky, and therefore glaringly obvious that you were obsessed with all sorts of facts and functions throughout your surf; so, they made the watch 25% smaller.

In addition to making it easier on the eye, the Curl also jammed in some more tech.

The GPS2 features live wind and live swell reports, whilst being able to track your speed, distance, length of wave and the number of them you catch. Then once you’re on the sand you can share it out to your mates to show them how much better you really are – stats don’t lie!

And when your significant other complains about your lack of exercise, you can just whip out your surf watch and show them exactly how much paddling you’ve been doing while they thought you were at work.

You can also suss out where those on the Rippy team have been surfing; unfortunately, they’ve removed the location of where Mick’s been heading on The Search.

If you’re into things other than surfing, such as swimming, snowboarding, or god forbid going for a run, then you can also track your progress there.

If you’re inner statistician can’t resist knowing the truth, then slide over here to browse Rip Curl’s GPS 2 Surf Watch.
