It only made sense, with Vans getting behind our Waco vision, to have Nathan Fletcher send a semi-hand-picked selection from the Stab High litter off the wall. 

As a sort of pre-final intermission at our first surf contest held mostly in the air, a handful of the event’s standouts (Mason Ho, Harry Bryant, Noa Beschen, even Waco wavemaker Cheyne Magnussen) as well as a handful of Total Randoms (dudes in g-strings, topless chicks, you know, standard Stab stuff—all threw themselves over the concrete ledge. 

While no one was able to stick one of the 15-plus foot wall and ride out, the attempts made for pure slapstick gold—full flails, yard sales galore, a few creative approaches, and thank Jah no injuries (only a few sacrificed boards).
